Medicare Education

Medicare, explained by a nurse.

Medicare should not feel like a maze. Nurse Janae spent more than 18 years caring for patients — much of it in emergency and trauma — and she brings that same calm, plain-language approach to helping you understand your coverage, your costs and your choices.

Meet Your Guide

About Nurse Janae

For more than 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for patients as a Registered Nurse, including many years in emergency and trauma care. That experience taught me how important it is for people to have clear information, compassionate guidance, and someone they can trust when making healthcare decisions.

Today, I bring that same approach to Medicare education.

My goal is to help individuals and families better understand their Medicare options without the confusion or pressure that can sometimes come with the process. I take the time to explain coverage, benefits, costs, prescriptions, provider access, and plan differences in a way that is practical and easy to understand.

Whether you are approaching Medicare for the first time or reviewing your current coverage during Annual Enrollment, I am here to help you ask the right questions and make informed decisions with confidence.

Think of me as your nurse who happens to speak Medicare.

At Legacy Shield Financial, my mission remains the same as it has always been: helping people feel protected, informed, and cared for when it matters most.
